The lifestyle mall shines the spotlight on culinary delights from around the globe

The first of its kind, New Ocean Fine Food City is an all-encompassing lifestyle food mall located in Section 19, PJ. Founded with the goal to showcase the world’s culinary delights in one space, the mall caters to gourmands and will open on February 3, 2024.

With 22 handpicked restaurants that run the gamut from Beijing roast duck and high-quality Kyoto matcha to a rooftop bar, guests will be spoiled for choice when deciding where to dine. We speak to Christin Tan, the spokesperson for New Ocean Fine Food City, to find out more. 

TA. What is New Ocean Fine Food City?

CT. New Ocean Fine Food City is the first of its kind lifestyle food mall fully dedicated to serving the best food from around the world to be experienced in one place.

TA. What restaurants can guests look forward to?

CT. From heritage restaurants with centuries of family history to original and lesser known concepts, guests can enjoy a wide selection of cuisines. Expect Malaysian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Greek, Cantonese, and Lebanese fare amongst others. Brand owners are also provided with the resources they need to grow and introduce new culinary concepts to the country. 

TA. When is it opening?

CT. We are set to welcome guests in phases, and have soft launched the first floor in December 2023 when Ms Ao Dai, Hua Xin Desserts, Raku Matcha, and The Golden time Wonton Noodle opened.

The third-floor opening will be in February 2024, where Song Ngu Vietnamese Cuisine and Somboon Thai Restaurant are located. Also opening in 2024 is Dynastic Palace, which takes up the entire fourth floor.
