Wonton noodles is considered by many Chinese people a source of great comfort, tracing its roots back to the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou during the Qing dynasty (1644–1911). The same noodles were introduced by Hong Kong, consumed as a light snack consisting of pork and shrimp dumplings, bouncy noodles and a flavourful broth. The Golden Time Old Wonton Noodles is set in a brilliant heritage shophouse design with terracotta red floor tiles, where murals of old Hong Kong fill the walls. Get ready to be transported to a bygone era where wonton noodles is best enjoyed with a simple bowl and chopsticks, over marble table tops while sitting on stools.
